Welcome to localvendorlookup.com! I created this site because I love shopping with, and buying from, local craft vendors. I like knowing who I’m buying from, and I like supporting my fellow side hustlers who are following their passion. The only problem is, it can be hard to do! Where I live, just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, there are many local festivals with wonderful artisan vendors. I love browsing the stalls, talking with the vendors, and buying their locally made products.
So, where does the problem come in? Well, there have been many times when I’ve bought something from a vendor, and when I run out of whatever that something is, I find the vendor doesn’t have a good online presence, so there is no way for me to buy their product again. (Or at least, not until the next festival.) There have also been times when I wanted to stop and browse a vendor’s goods, and one of my kids makes a beeline in a completely different direction. I will remember what product the vendor was selling, but I may not remember the name of their stall.
Local Vendor Lookup aims to solve that problem. On our site, shoppers will be able to find local craft vendors, and shop with them instead of a larger business who may be sourcing from other places.
